Blender Addon「Step Loop Select Ver1.4」(Blender 2.8~4.1)

Add-on description

You can select loops continuously, skipping one column, up to any range.

Loop selection supports all vertices, edges, and faces, but the accuracy is subtle for vertices and edges, so it may be strange if used on a mesh that is too complex.

Latest update April 7, 2024 (Ver 1.4)

• Moved the execution location to "Edit mode → Select".
• The execute button on the right tab has been deleted.
• After execution, the "number" and "position" can only be specified for faces, so the text "face only" has been added.

How to execute

First, select the shortest path (Ctrl + left click) or Select Loops (Alt + left click) to select in a straight line.

Next, select "Step Loop Select" from "Select" in edit mode and execute it.

After that, you can specify "interval", "number", and "position" if necessary.

("Number" and "Position" only work on faces)

How to install the add-on

① Select Preferences from Edit in the upper left of the Blender screen

② Select Add-ons in the center left of the Blender Preferences screen

③ Select Install in the upper right

④ Select the downloaded zip file and select Install Add-on

⑤ Check the displayed add-on to enable it

Blender 2.82 to 4.1
